Access of Testing Environment (Sandbox) for MYINVOIS Open for Integration Testing of Business Taxpayer Systems via Application Programming Interface (API)

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) announces that the MyInvois Testing Environment (Sandbox) is now open for taxpayers and service providers to test system integration with MyInvois via the Application Programming Interface (API). Pilot companies can access the sandbox from April 10, 2024, and others from April 22, 2024.

To access this sandbox, taxpayers or service providers need to apply for a Client ID and Client Secret from IRBM via email at sdkmyinvois@hasil.gov.my, providing the following information:

  1. Tax Identification Number (TIN),
  2. Business Registration Number,
  3. Company Name,
  4. Company email, and
  5. Name of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used.

Additionally, the IRBM has uploaded SDK version 1.0, General e-Invois Guidelines (Version 2.3), and Specific e-Invois Guidelines (Version 2.1) to the Micro e-Invois Page on their official portal at https://www.hasil.gov.my/e-invois since April 6, 2024, for taxpayers’ guidance.
