Application for Installment Payment of Outstanding Tax/Tax Arrears Online through E-Installment on the MYTAX Portal

This initiative was introduced to facilitate taxpayers in applying for installment payments of outstanding tax or tax arrears and obtaining automatic approval without the need for any supporting documents.

What are the criteria that must be met to apply for the e-installment services?

The criteria that must be met in order to apply for the e-installment services are as follows:

1. The total amount of the application is RM 300.00 or more.
2. The number of installments is limited to two (2) to six (6) installments only.
3. Only income tax installments are involved (including any increases, if applicable).
4. Does not involve installments that are currently in effect.

Steps to Apply for Installment Payment of Outstanding Tax/Tax Arrears Online through E-Installment on the MYTAX Portal are as follows:

1. Taxpayers can access the e-Installment service by logging into the MyTax portal via the link https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/
2. Select the relevant role (Individual / Director/ Director’s Representative).

Any cancellation of an e-Installment application can only be made at the HASiL office.
