What is SPPP?
Starting February 4, 2021, B40 group entrepreneurs and full-time students can register their businesses for free with SSM under the Registration of Businesses Act 1956. This offer lasts until funds run out.
Purpose
The SPPP scheme aims to support B40 entrepreneurs, especially those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Key Points
- One-time registration valid for one year.
- Fee Waivers:
- Sole proprietorship (personal name): RM30/year.
- Sole proprietorship/partnership (trade name): RM60/year.
- Business info: RM10.
Who Can Apply?
- B40 Entrepreneurs:
- Must be Malaysian citizens, 18 or older.
- Recipients of government aid (e.g., Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat).
- No active business registered with SSM.
- Full-Time IPT Students:
- Must be Malaysian citizens, 18 or older.
- Enrolled full-time at any recognized institution.
- No active business registered with SSM.
Business Types
Can register as a sole proprietorship or partnership (partners must be eligible).
