Training Providers under Human Resource Development Corporation

HRD Corp (Human Resource Development Corporation) in Malaysia oversees the registration and management of training providers to ensure quality training for the Malaysian workforce. Registered training providers can offer HRD Corp claimable courses to registered employers.

Who Can Register as a Training Provider?

Entities eligible for registration include:
  • Companies registered under the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) as Berhad (Bhd.) or Sendirian Berhad (Sdn. Bhd.).
  • Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP).
  • Sole Proprietorships or Enterprises.
  • Government or Semi-Government Institutions.
Registration Requirements
  • At least one full-time trainer.
  • At least one support staff member.
  • Registration fee: RM 1,000 for the main office/headquarters and RM 500 for each branch, valid for one year.
  • The business nature must include “Training or Consultancy Services.”
  • Submission of a signed Training Provider’s Integrity Pledge form.
Registration Process
  • Online Application: Submit the application through the e-TRiS platform with all required documents.
  • Inquiry: HRD Corp may request additional information if needed.
  • Pre-Approval: A company visit may be conducted.
  • Payment: Upon pre-approval, make the necessary payment at the nearest Public Bank.
  • Final Approval: Granted after payment confirmation.
  • E-Certificate: Download, print, and display the certificate at your premises.
  • e-TRiS Access: Receive login credentials for the e-TRiS system.
Document Checklist

Depending on the entity type, documents such as SSM forms, business nature clarification, Integrity Pact Form, and the Training Provider’s Master Services Agreement (MSA) are required.

 

Programme Registration for HRD Corp Claimable Courses:

  • Validity Extension: HRD Corp Claimable Courses are extended until 31 December 2021 without additional charges.
  • Registration Process: Log in to e-TRiS, navigate to Application > Profile Management > Training Programme > Register for Training Programme, and fill in the necessary information.
  • No Registration Fee: There is no fee for course registration.
  • Trainer Requirements: All registered trainers must possess relevant competencies and skills aligned with the programme.
  • Claims: Training providers can claim the training fee only after the training is conducted.
  • External Trainers: Trainers from overseas do not require a TTT certificate if they are solely conducting training in Malaysia.
